We are recruiting a Design Engineer
Re-Gen Robotics is the first and only Zone 0 EX certified, remote controlled, ‘No Man Entry’ robotic tank cleaning company, in the UK and Ireland.

We are currently recruiting for the role of Design Engineer to join our ever-expanding Company based within our facilities in Newry. Working alongside the Managing Director, you will be responsible for end-to-end design, creation and implementation of tank as a part monitoring on site activities to ensure all employees, sub-contractors and visitors comply with Re-Gen Robotics company policies. You will also be responsible for the design process of ADR/Atex rated including jet/vac combination tankers
Work with Managing director to design and develop a new mobile tanker to suit industry needs
Provide workshop drawings for completing the build
Liaise with internal and external fabricators to supply required components to relevant standards
Optimise build into Kit Form assembly for efficient production
Pricing, ordering parts and monitoring stock levels
Compile Complete Parts list and track historic changes
Communicate with operators for improvements of the tanker, robot and other ancillary systems
Managing the certification of the Tanker to ADR standard through Lloyds or TUV
Designing new implements for the robot
Program truck building
Drawings for presentations and quotations
Standardising the build as much as possible
ADR/Atex rated including jet/vac combination tankers.
5 years experience in an Engineering role
Educated to minimum degree level in Engineering
Strong knowledge of 3D CAD (Solidworks)
Knowledge of Electrical control systems
Project Management Experience
Competent in the use of Microsoft office programmes, including outlook, excel, word etc
Valid, UK Driving License as position may involve travel around other depots throughout
the group, as and when required
Ability to deliver high quality work with getting it right first time.
Good Communication skills.
Ability to develop new skills.
Experience in heavy industrial design
